Supporting a footpath with cyclepath between Whitchurch and Laverstoke
I have been approached by a resident, who asked:
Will Hampshire County Council take up the ability starting next April to use health improvement money to create cyclesafe bicycle infrastructure?
Specifically, will you ensure HCC prioritises a segregated cycle path along the B3400 from Whitchurch to Overton, which also passes Laverstoke Mill - the site of the new gin distillery?
Would you support a separate cycle path for people who commute to Laverstoke/Overton?
This is was my reply:
As and when Hampshire decides to take advantage of this, I will keep the parish and town councils informed.
As and when Hampshire decides to take advantage of this, I would certainly push for the B3400 between Whitchurch and Overton to be included.
My wish would be that such an improvement would include a footpath.
